Package Receiving
Package Receiving Service in Bali
Prices and rules checked
Have parcels delivered to our Kerobokan office instead of a villa you're about to leave. From IDR 50,000 a parcel, set by its size, and the first fourteen days are in that fee. Collect it when you're back, or have us forward it wherever you're going next.
Getting a parcel delivered in Bali is harder than it should be. Villas and guesthouses change every few weeks, couriers call a number that goes unanswered, and plenty of hosts won't sign for something that isn't theirs. Order anything with a two week lead time and you may well have moved on before it arrives.
Our office in Kerobokan is a fixed address with someone behind the counter six days a week, and the same counter that handles shipping out of Bali and stock for brands. Have your parcel sent here, we sign for it, put it aside, and message you that it landed. It waits until you can come and get it.
If you have already left the island, that isn't a problem either. Forwarding parcels overseas is the thing we do all day, so anything sitting here can be packed and shipped on to wherever you are.
Who this is for
- Digital nomads and long stay visitors without a fixed address
- Travellers who ordered something that will arrive after they check out
- People whose villa, hotel or co-working space won't accept parcels
- Anyone buying from a local marketplace who needs an address that will still be there next week
- Visitors arriving soon who want purchases waiting when they land
Not a fit: We're not a registered business address or a mail forwarding subscription, so we can't receive company post or act as your legal address. We also can't accept anything perishable, live, or restricted for import into Indonesia.
What we do, and what we will not do
We do
- Receive parcels addressed to you, in your own name, at our Kerobokan counter.
- Message you the day your parcel arrives, telling you its size, the fee, the date your included fortnight ends and the date we have to clear it by.
- Photograph the parcel, and the contents if you ask, before you decide what happens next.
- Forward it anywhere in Indonesia or overseas, with you named as the sender on the documents.
- Accept parcels from any seller or courier, as long as you placed the order yourself.
We will never
- Buy anything on your behalf, or pay for anything on your behalf. You place the order, from your own account, with your own payment.
- Let our company name, address, tax number or phone number be used to open, verify or run an account anywhere.
- Ask you for a verification code or one time password, or give one to anybody. Nobody here will ever request this.
- Receive a parcel for one person that was ordered and paid for by another.
- Forward goods we have not been allowed to see.
These rules are not negotiable, and they are what makes the service safe to use. Parcel forwarding is a standing target for payment fraud, and that fraud always needs a local name on the paperwork. Order in your own name, pay from your own account, and none of this touches you. If a request cannot be made to fit these rules, we decline it, and we do not discuss it further. One thing we do buy is groceries for Japan, and that is a separate service with its own narrow limits: ordinary retail food, paid for before we shop, sent to your own address. It is not a way to have anything else bought, for anywhere else, and it changes nothing above.
What's included
A real address, not a locker
Parcels are signed for by a person at our Kerobokan counter, six days a week.
Told the moment it lands
We message you on WhatsApp when your parcel arrives, so you're not guessing.
Fourteen days in the fee, then by the week
Kept indoors and out of the way. From day fifteen the receiving fee falls due again for each further week. Bring your ID.
Forwarded if you have moved on
Already left Bali? We can pack and ship it to your next address, quoted per shipment.
What it costs
One fee per parcel, set by its size or its weight, whichever puts it in the higher tier, and never by what is inside it. That fee covers the first fourteen days, counted from the day the parcel arrives. From day fifteen the same amount falls due again for each further week, and part of a week counts as a whole one. It is all settled once, when you collect the parcel or when we forward it. There is nothing to subscribe to and no account to open.
The fee, by the size of the parcel
Small
Fits in a shoebox and weighs up to 5 kg. Documents, a phone, cosmetics, a pair of shoes.
- To receive, first 14 days

- Then each further week
- IDR 50,000 a week
Medium
Up to cabin bag size, 60 x 40 x 40 cm, and up to 15 kg. A few orders together, a small appliance.
- To receive, first 14 days
- IDR 75,000
- Then each further week
- IDR 75,000 a week
Large
Bigger than a cabin bag, over 15 kg, or anything that has to stand on the floor: surfboards, bicycles, furniture.
- To receive, first 14 days
- IDR 150,000
- Then each further week
- IDR 150,000 a week
Everything else
Forwarding overseas
Quoted per shipment
Depends on the destination, weight and declared value. We compare couriers before you commit. Forwarding through us waives one week of holding charges.
Domestic forwarding within Indonesia
Quoted per shipment
Waives one week of holding charges, the same as a shipment abroad.
Repacking or consolidating several parcels
Quoted before the work starts
Useful when a few orders arrive separately and you want one box sent on.
Photographs of the parcel, or of what is inside it
Free
Ask and we open it in front of a camera before you decide what happens next.
What a few real ones come to
Small parcel, collected inside the fortnight
IDR 50,000
Medium parcel, collected in week five
IDR 300,000
Small parcel, forwarded abroad in week three
IDR 50,000 plus shipping
The medium parcel is IDR 75,000 to receive, then three further weeks at IDR 75,000. The forwarded one owed one further week, and forwarding through us waives one week of holding charges, whether it goes abroad or within Indonesia. That is one week per parcel, never more, and a parcel forwarded inside the first fourteen days has nothing to waive. Each parcel is counted on its own, so three deliveries are three fees, and part of a week counts as a week.
The fee covers receiving the parcel, telling you it landed and holding it. Onward shipping, import duty and any repacking are separate and quoted before anything is done. The weekly charge stops at day sixty, which makes it a ceiling as well as a deadline: the most a parcel can ever come to is IDR 400,000 small, IDR 600,000 medium or IDR 1,200,000 large, and long before any of those we would rather forward it to you than keep charging for shelf space. Everything is settled when the parcel leaves, and we hold it until it is. If the fourteenth day falls on a day we are closed you have until the next day we open, because we are not charging a week for a day you could not have come. Tell us before a large one arrives so we can make room: one that turns up unannounced is still accepted and still charged as large.

Frequently asked questions
- How much does it cost to receive a package?
- It depends on the size. A small parcel that fits in a shoebox is IDR 50,000, a medium one up to about cabin bag size is IDR 75,000, and anything larger or over 15 kg is IDR 150,000. That fee covers signing for it, telling you it arrived and holding it for fourteen days, counted from the day it lands. From day fifteen the same amount falls due again for each further week, and part of a week counts as a whole one. There is no subscription and no monthly fee.
- What address do I use?
- Message us before you order and we'll give you the address and the exact format to put on the label, including the name to use so we can match the parcel to you when it lands.
- How will I know it arrived?
- We message you on WhatsApp when it lands. If a courier tries to reach you first and can't, they will usually call us instead, and the parcel still gets signed for.
- When can I collect it?
- During office hours, Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 3pm. Closed Sundays, and public holidays vary, so message us first if one falls on the day you were coming. Bring ID that matches the name on the parcel.
- How long can you hold it for me?
- Fourteen days are included in the receiving fee, which covers most people comfortably. From day fifteen each further week costs the same as the receiving fee did, and we round up, so a day into a week is a week. Sixty days from the day it arrived is the limit. If you know in advance you will be away longer than that, tell us when it lands and we will work something out rather than let the clock run.
- What is the most it could end up costing me?
- The charge stops at day sixty, so the deadline is also the ceiling. A small parcel left the whole sixty days reaches IDR 400,000, a medium one IDR 600,000 and a large one IDR 1,200,000. Those are the worst cases and we would much rather they never happened: if a parcel is sitting here running up weeks, we will say so and offer to forward it to you, because paying the shipping once is nearly always cheaper for you than paying for shelf space.
- What if the fourteenth day falls on a Sunday?
- Then you have until the next day we are open. We are not going to charge you a week for a day you could not have come, and the same applies to the sixty day limit. Public holidays work the same way, although we are often open on those.
- When do I pay, and can you refuse to hand it over?
- You pay once, at the counter, when the parcel leaves: either when you collect it or before we forward it. Nothing is charged when it arrives, and we never ask for a card or a deposit. We do keep the parcel until the fee is settled, which is the only reason that sentence needs to be on the page at all.
- What happens if I never collect it?
- Sixty days after it arrives an uncollected parcel is treated as abandoned, and after that we may return it, donate it or dispose of it. We are not trying to catch anyone out. You get that date in writing on the day the parcel lands, we message you again before the sixty days run out, and we act only if we have heard nothing back. The full wording is in the terms. If you are stuck, tell us, because forwarding it to you is nearly always easier for both of us than either of us losing it.
- Who decides what size my parcel is?
- We do, at the counter, when it arrives, and we tell you which tier it fell into in the same message that tells you it landed. We look at its size and weigh it, and whichever of the two is higher sets the tier. A shoebox that weighs 8 kg is medium, and a cabin bag sized parcel over 15 kg is large. If you think we have called it wrong, say so and we will look at it again with you.
- Do I have to warn you about something large?
- Please do. Surfboards, bicycles and furniture take floor space we have to set aside, so message us before you order anything like that. We will still accept one that arrives unannounced, and it will still be charged as large, but telling us first means it goes somewhere sensible instead of in the way.
- I have already left Bali. Can you send it on?
- Yes. Forwarding parcels overseas is our main business. Tell us where you are and we'll quote the shipping, prepare the customs paperwork and send it on with tracking.
- Can you receive several parcels and send them as one?
- Yes, and it usually works out cheaper than shipping each one separately. Each parcel is charged the receiving fee, then we repack them together and quote a single onward shipment.
- Is there anything you can't accept?
- Nothing perishable, nothing alive, and nothing restricted for import into Indonesia. Not sure whether yours counts? Ask before you order, not after it's on its way.
Send it to us instead
Message us before you order and we'll give you the address to use, along with what to put on the label so it reaches the right counter.
